Meet Alexander Malek, DPM, MPH

Dr. Malek began his academic career at Touro University, where he focused on biology as an undergraduate, later earning a Master’s in Public Health from George Washington University. He then graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed an intensive reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency at New York Presbyterian Queens, including advanced rotations at NYP Weill Cornell Medical Center and NYP Columbia Medical Center.

Throughout his residency, Dr. Malek gained extensive training across all areas of foot and ankle medicine and surgery, specializing in elective and reconstructive surgery, trauma, sports medicine, advanced limb salvage techniques, and wound care. Now a proud ABFAS Board Qualified surgeon, he is dedicated to providing exceptional care for his patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Malek enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He looks forward to meeting you and caring for all your foot and ankle needs.
