Meet Carlos Silva, DPM

Dr. Carlos F. Silva brings 37 years of extensive experience in both medical and surgical foot care. After completing his undergraduate studies at Bernard M. Baruch College in 1983, he earned his Podiatric degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1988. He further honed his skills through a Surgical Preceptorship at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, completing his postgraduate training in 1989, and has been a licensed podiatrist in New York since 1988.

Dr. Silva is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of care. His professional affiliations include the NYS Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association, and American Wound Care Association.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Silva’s expertise has spanned a wide range of podiatric conditions. His clinical practice encompasses diabetic foot care, management of geriatric arthropathies, children’s foot deformities, comprehensive wound care management, and surgical correction of all foot problems. Dr. Silva is also affiliated with Northwell Forest Hills Hospital and is a bilingual physician, fluent in Spanish, ensuring he can effectively serve a diverse patient population.
