Janet J. Park, DPM, is a board-certified podiatric foot and ankle surgeon at Curalta Foot + Ankle, providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients of all ages. She is dedicated to helping patients relieve pain, restore function, and maintain long-term foot and ankle health through individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Dr. Park earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Wellesley College, where she was inducted into the Sigma Xi Honor Society. She received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and was inducted into the Pi Mu Delta Honor Society. She completed a rigorous three-year surgical residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, where she served as Chief Resident and received advanced training in foot and ankle surgery, trauma, and reconstructive procedures.
Throughout her training and professional career, Dr. Park has demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership, research, and academic excellence. She has held leadership roles including President of the Asian American Podiatric Student Association and the ACE Health Practitioner Club, and she has been recognized with honors such as the APMA Educational Foundation Scholarship Award. She has presented research at national conferences, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Annual Conference, and has authored peer-reviewed journal publications.
Clinically, Dr. Park treats a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, with special interests in bunion and hammertoe correction, reconstructive surgery, trauma care, pediatric foot conditions, orthotics, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, sports medicine, and preventative care. She emphasizes thoughtful, patient-centered care and works closely with each patient to develop treatment plans that align with their goals and lifestyle.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Park is passionate about global health and medical outreach and has volunteered with international organizations in Ghana and South Korea to advocate for health equity.
