Dr. Joseph Alencherry is a dual board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon and a Fellow of both the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Orthopaedics and Medicine. He is highly skilled in complex foot and ankle surgery, with a particular focus on revision procedures, deformity correction, and Charcot reconstruction.
Dr. Alencherry delivers comprehensive, evidence-based care for a broad spectrum of foot and ankle conditions. His clinical expertise includes bunion and hammertoe correction, diabetic foot care, heel pain, sports injuries, trauma and fractures, and advanced wound care. He also provides a full range of conservative and advanced treatment options, including custom orthotics, EPAT shockwave therapy, laser treatments, and pediatric foot care. Dr. Alencherry is affiliated with Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital.
