Dr. Umeer Sheikh grew up in Long Island NY and attended St. John’s University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology. He continued his professional studies at Temple University, earning a Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine. He successfully completed residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center (Trauma 1 hospital), serving as chief resident in his final year. He has extensive training in foot and ankle trauma/reconstruction, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, elective forefoot surgery, and sports medicine. Dr. Sheikh fosters communication and understanding for his patients while striving to provide high quality foot and ankle care. In his free time, he enjoys board games, playing sports, dining at restaurants, and of course spending time with family and friends.
