Dr. Alexandra Grulke, “Dr. Sandie,” is a dual-certified foot and ankle surgeon with more than 15 years of experience caring for patients in the West Chester area. She is board certified in Foot Surgery (2009) and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery (2011), and became Wound Care certified in 2012.
Dr. Grulke earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She completed an extensive four-year surgical residency at Temple Hospital, where she received advanced training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma management, diabetic limb salvage, and complex wound care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Grulke lives in Downingtown with her husband, four children, two energetic Labrador retrievers, and two cats. As an active jiu-jitsu student and instructor, beginner golfer, and devoted supporter of her children’s school and athletic activities, she understands firsthand how demanding daily life can be—and how important it is to stay active without the limitations of foot and ankle pain.
Dr. Grulke is committed to helping her patients heal efficiently and return to their normal routines as quickly and safely as possible through thoughtful, individualized care.
