Meet Bowen Yang, DPM

Dr. Bowen Yang is a podiatrist and foot & ankle surgeon offering comprehensive foot and ankle care for patients of all ages. A longtime basketball player, sneaker enthusiast, and former Foot Locker sales associate, he has had a deep personal connection to foot and ankle health long before medical school. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he served as Class President, and completed his surgical residency at Long Island Jewish/North Shore at Northwell Health, one of the most respected foot and ankle training programs in the country. Dr. Yang sees patients for the full spectrum of podiatric needs, from everyday concerns like foot pain, ingrown toenails, sports injuries, and pediatric foot conditions, to complex reconstructive surgery. He believes in a holistic, conservative-first approach and takes time to have thorough conversations with every patient, making sure they understand their options and feel genuinely involved in the decisions about their own care. Dr. Yang is ABFAS Board Qualified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery, holds a Master of Applied Sciences in Tissue Engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and is fluent in English and Chinese. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, hiking, and watching sports events such as basketball, tennis, and Formula 1.
