Meet Sohaib Aslam, DPM

Dr. Aslam grew up in northwest New Jersey, completing his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University where he majored in Biology and minored in Psychology. He then went on to graduate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a three-year residency at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he learned various surgical techniques and conservative treatment plans. Dr. Aslam then moved to Philadelphia, joining Independence Foot and Ankle Associates.

Dr. Aslam offers comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions with attention and detail. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients dealing with chronic pain, wound care, sports injuries, or complex foot deformity, with the goal of helping patients regain mobility and improve quality of life.

Dr. Aslam tailors each treatment plan to the unique needs of each patient. He takes a patient-centered approach to care, providing education, empathy, and personalized guidance at every step of the healing process. When he is not treating patients, you can find him exploring the city for the best food spots with his wife, at an NBA game, or spending time with family and friends.
